A Decade of Sir Angel: Celebrating 10 Years With a Gift to the Couples Who Trust Me.
Ten years ago, I began this journey with a borrowed camera and a dream I didn’t yet know how to name. Today, I’m celebrating a decade of love stories, growth, and the creation of The Sir Angel Experience — a heartfelt approach where every couple is treated like family, not clients. To mark this milestone, I’m offering a limited number of complimentary editorial engagement sessions to help couples feel comfortable, confident, and deeply connected ahead of their wedding day.
Ten years ago, I was a nursing student with a borrowed dream and a borrowed camera. I bought my first Canon 600D with money my sister Ellen kindly lent me a small act of faith that changed everything. I struggled a lot in the beginning. I didn’t have the best equipment, the confidence, or the roadmap. But I had heart, curiosity, and a feeling that photography was where I truly belonged.
Those early challenges shaped me. They taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of showing up even when the path isn’t clear. And slowly, through every setback and every small win, I found my voice.
Since then, photography has taken me places I never imagined. I’ve stood in quiet morning light with couples who barely slept from excitement, witnessed vows whispered through tears, and watched families come together in ways that stay with me long after the day ends. Every wedding has taught me something about people, about love, and about the power of being truly present.
How My Style Found Its Voice
Over the years, my style has become a blend that feels unmistakably mine: editorial in its elegance, candid in its heart, and guided just enough to help you feel safe and confident.
Editorial, because I’m drawn to clean lines, intentional composition, and timeless tones.
Candid, because the most meaningful moments are the ones you don’t plan.
Guided, because sometimes all you need is a gentle nudge to relax into yourselves.
A decade of experience has taught me when to step back and let a moment breathe, and when to step in with quiet direction that elevates the scene without interrupting it. That balance, that trust, is where the magic happens.
Why I Created The Sir Angel Experience
The Sir Angel Experience was born from everything I learned in those early years, the struggles, the growth, and the realisation that photography is about far more than beautiful images. It’s about how people feel when they’re with you.
I created it because I wanted couples to feel seen, understood, and cared for from the moment they enquire to the moment they receive their gallery. I wanted to build something that went beyond photography, something rooted in trust, calm, and emotional connection.
It matters to me because I know what it feels like to start with nothing but heart. And I know how powerful it is when someone believes in you. The Sir Angel Experience is my way of giving that feeling back to every couple I work with.
More Than a Photographer, Becoming Family
One of the things I’m most grateful for is how many couples end up seeing me not just as a photographer, but as a friend, sometimes even as family. I blend in when needed, step up when the moment calls for it, and hold space for the emotions that unfold throughout the day.
By the time the wedding arrives, we’ve built a connection. You know my calm presence, my gentle guidance, and the way I protect your moments. And that trust changes everything. It’s why the images feel so natural, so intimate, so you.
A Gift to Celebrate This Chapter
To honour this milestone, I’m offering something special, something that reflects the heart of my work and the trust couples place in me.
I’m opening a limited number of complimentary editorial engagement sessions for couples who want to feel more comfortable and connected before their wedding day.
This session is more than a photoshoot. It’s a chance to:
get used to being in front of the camera
understand how I guide and work
build trust and ease before the big day
create elegant, editorial images that feel like you
It’s my way of saying thank you, for the decade behind me and the stories still to come.
Looking Ahead
A decade in, I feel more inspired than ever. The work still excites me. The stories still move me. And the couples I meet continue to remind me why I started in the first place, with a borrowed camera, a hopeful heart, and a belief that I could create something meaningful.
As I step into the next chapter, I’m carrying everything I’ve learned and pouring it into every wedding still to come.
